Paul Chambers Equine Dentistry

I have been involved with horses all of my life. Coming from a non horsey family this was quite a challenge. I became interested in carriage driving quite early on as I couldn't afford a horse big enough to ride so I bought a pony and drove. This led on to 'Horse Driving Trials'. I have been national champion twice and won 'Royal Winsor Horse Show', our only international competition in this country. I recently qualified for the 'Single Horse World Championships" in Poland. I have always been interested in schooling my horses, improving their balance and suppleness. To this end I became interested in different schooling techniques, osteopathy, physiotherapy and dentistry. I have been an 'Equine Dental Technician' since 1990 and believe this is a very important part of a horses basic maintenance. Having your horses teeth rasped will not make it a superstar on its own but not having them done could stop you reaching your full potential! |
